| One of Intype Libra’s most significant aspects is its use of paper, which is by far the main raw material. To minimise the impact of this we endeavour to ensure that all our suppliers of paper harvest from sustainably managed forests or use recycled fibre. Accordingly our objectives include increasing our usage of recycled and FSC papers. Other aspects are our use of energy and resources and we therefore have objectives to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste and increase recycling. We are committed to minimise our pollution/environmental damage and we ensure that any wastes are collected, transported and disposed of via a registered specialist in accordance with the 1990 Environmental Protection Act and other Associated legislation. We continue to seek annual improvements in production methods that cut down on the use of chemicals and raw materials, encouraging production from electronic data straight to finished product. We favour electronic transmission of data whenever possible. To reduce the impact when we have to collect and deliver physically, we use an LPG van. Intype Libra Limited will operate within the law and comply with any environmental legislation that applies to our commercial activities. Our policy is to minimise our impact on the local and global environment. |
